A small, independent knowledge project focused on transparent disagreement rather than mass publication.
What the site does
Mediated Wiki publishes a selected collection of community-editable articles. Its distinctive contribution is the public decision record around contested edits. Readers can inspect what changed, why an editor objected, what evidence each side offered, and how the dispute was resolved.
Edits normally appear immediately. Another participant may challenge a specific revision, the author may respond, and the site records the ruling and rationale. Repeated or difficult disputes may be escalated for human steward review.
What the site does not publish
The bulk Wikipedia reference corpus is an editor research tool, not a public article catalog. It is excluded from the public sitemap and article index. Old source-mirror URLs are retired for anonymous visitors and direct readers to the corresponding Wikipedia article instead.
Mediated Wiki does not claim that copied text becomes original merely because it is hosted on a different domain. Public pages are selected and maintained individually, and thin pages are kept out of search indexing and advertising until they contain substantial material.
Independence and attribution
Mediated Wiki is independently operated and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation, Wikipedia, Google, or OpenAI. When an article incorporates Wikipedia text, the page must preserve the applicable source, contributor-history, and Creative Commons attribution.
